Dr. Mariya Dvoskina will discuss key considerations in threat assessment and management including warning behaviors, risk factors, protective factors and triggering events. In addition she will discuss considerations for intervention and countermeasures. Case examples will be used to demonstrate key concepts.

Mariya Dvoskina provides ongoing therapy and crisis intervention services to first responders and their families. She supervises first responder peer support teams across Colorado and consults on a national level. She is a certified Threat Manager and provides threat assessment consultation to local schools, universities, businesses, local law enforcement, FBI and Homeland Security.
