(Session 1) 1 p.m. Defending Against, Investigating, and Responding to UNC2452 Intrusions – Charles Carmakal and Lawrence Taub – Mandiant
(Session 2) 2 p.m. MEMBERS ONLY – Best Practices and Lessons Learned from the Equifax Data Breach – SSA Chad Hunt – FBI Atlanta
Objectives:
1. Learn about he role Security plays in sensitive HR issues, especially in a WFH environment.
2. Learn about the latest trends in cyber security.
3. Learn about supply-side cyber attacks
Presenters:
Stan Partlow, Former VP/CSO American Electric Power
Mr. Partlow recently retired as the VP/CSO responsible for Cyber Security, Physical Security and Aviation. Mr. Partlow was previously with the FBI and Columbus Division of Police. Mr. Partlow holds a JD from Capital Univ. School of Law.
Kelvin Coleman, Executive Director – National Cyber Security Alliance
Mr. Coleman is a dynamic cybersecurity leader with two decade’s of experience in high-stakes cybersecurity posts at the White House, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the private sector.
Lawrence Taub, Senior Manager – Mandiant
Dr. Lawrence Taub is a Senior Manager for Mandiant where he runs the Mandiant Incident Response team for the Southeast U.S. region, providing emergency services to clients when a security breach occurs. Dr. Taub also helps clients to prepare for incident response activities through a variety of mechanisms including tabletop exercises and incident response plan refinement.
Charles Carmakal, Senior VP/Strategic Services CTO – Mandiant
Mr. Carmakal is Senior Vice President and Strategic Services CTO for Mandiant. He oversees a team that has helped over a thousand organizations respond to complex security breaches orchestrated by foreign governments, organized criminals, and political hacktivists. Charles has 20+ years of experience helping organizations become more resilient to cyber attacks, including significant experience helping Fortune 500 organizations build and enhance security programs to combat advanced attacks.

Open only to InfraGard members and their guests. Aimed toward InfraGard members and guests who are involved in HR, Physical, and Cyber security. It is noted that the FBI – Atlanta presentation is for MEMBERS only and requires a separate registration.
