Our speakers will discuss aspects of facility security, highlighting techniques that bad actors may use to defeat technology-based security measures such as card readers and ways to mitigate risks associated with technology reliance. They will also include suggested practices to evaluate and harden the security perimeter of a facility.

Babak is a noted member of the physical security community, well-recognized among both professional circles (due to the work The CORE Group) as well as in the hacker world (as the President of TOOOL, The Open Organisation Of Lockpickers). His first foray into the world of physical security was in the third grade, where he was sent to detention for showing another student how to disassemble the door.
Timothy Bryant, Captain, Protective Force Interational
Tim started in the medical field as an Emergency Medic Technician, and has worked in casino gaming and private security for over 20 years. Tim currently holds a BA in Business Management and a MA in Psychology and is a Senior Master Instructor for defensive tactics with Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Tim has a wealth of knowledge regarding physical security.
