During this session, Dr. Rubenstein will discuss various cyber threat vectors to nuclear and critical infrastructure and methods to assess and mitigate them. Particular emphasis will be given to understanding attack surface and unusual or less visible threats, and how such attacks can pivot to other systems. Dr. Cohen will then discuss how nuclear power can have a renaissance in the U.S. through the rapid deployment of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and Microreactors (MRs), which can provide safe, secure, reliable, and carbon-free base load power for industrial and community consumers.
